Peace is currently reigning in Uganda as compared to years back after its independence when individuals who were greedy for power staged coups to take the presidential seats. Peace in the country has led to both economic and population growth. Volunteers programs have been created to help society have basic needs like health and education. Better health services and education for individuals in the country have increased incomes for many Ugandan people. The purpose of the volunteer programs is generally to a different in a community where the majority of the population are youths who are dependent on their parents and guardians. Most of the volunteer programs are based in Kampala. The volunteer projects include those for primary and secondary schools, orphanages, and the health care systems
