Egypt is a country dominated by Islamic communities and the dressing code is more lenient than other Islamic countries but still very clear when it comes to places like mosques, monasteries, churches etc.
Women are required to wear clothes that cover their shoulders and knees except when they are on the beach and men are allowed to wear normal clothes all over Egypt (El-Ashmouni & Salama, 2022).
