Malaysian universities are constantly developing and aren’t too far behind institutions that provide a quality education on level with the best in the world (Glass, 2014). Because of Malaysia’s education system and its emphasis on meeting international standards, a number of the institutions in the country provide programs in computer science and engineering that are ranked among the top 100 programs in the world (Glass, 2014). The Ministry of Higher Education, which has the mission to transform Malaysia into a global center of excellence for higher education, keeps a strict eye on the education standards.
In comparison to nations like Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, France, and the United States, the cost of living and attending school in Malaysia is far more affordable (Glass, 2014). The course always uses the same marking method, always uses the same assessment criteria, and always uses the same module material (Glass, 2014). As a result, the degree has the same amount of weight as the one awarded by the UK campus, but it may be obtained at a far more affordable price.
