Given its rich culture, long history, and variety of one-of-a-kind educational opportunities, Greece is quickly becoming a preferred location for students from other countries. The relatively inexpensive cost of tuition in Greece is one of the primary attractions of the country as a destination for international students. In Greek public institutions, students hailing from the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA), or Switzerland are exempt from paying tuition fees for bachelor’s degree programs, and in many cases, they are also exempt from paying costs for master’s degree programs (Daskalaki et al., 2019).
