The major foreign exchange earners of Rwanda are mining, tourism, and agricultural products like tea and coffee. The largest foreign exchange earnings in Rwanda is tourism. The sector is growing rapidly, and its revenue is seen to increase annually. It is then followed by the mining sector. The mineral resources mined in the land include Coltan, peat, cassiterite, and wolfram, among many other minerals. Tea is an export that is gaining momentum in the country’s foreign exchange earnings. The tea is exported to the United Kingdom, China, and Kenya. Coffee has been playing a significant role in the country’s economy in its foreign
exchange earnings contributions and rural areas’ economy monetization. The exports and its more potential make the country have a great potential to grow economically.
